Through discipline, experience, expertise and quality specialists, McKeon Group work with clients, design, and project teams to create, restore and develop new space in fine detail.

Position Overview

We seek a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and creating engaging content who is self-motivated to join our marketing team. This role will be pivotal in producing high-quality and engaging content across various platforms to support our sales teams, marketing and communication efforts. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, from the most hi-tech smart buildings to historical restorations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generate captivating written, visual, and multimedia content for various platforms (social media, blogs, website, emails).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content aligned with company goals and target audience.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, style, and messaging.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and news for fresh content ideas.
  • Conduct thorough research for accurate content.
  • Produce and edit graphics, images, and videos for enhanced content visuals.
  • Assist in creating multimedia projects like videos, podcasts, and webinars.
  • Schedule, publish, and manage content for active online presence.
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments professionally.
  • Apply basic SEO for optimal search engine visibility.
  • Analyse content performance and make data-driven improvements.
  • Gather and showcase project-related content on websites, social media, and awards.
  • Craft engaging narratives highlighting project impact and innovation.
  • Collaborate with teams and project managers to obtain all accurate information relating to projects and blogs.
  • Coordinate approvals with project managers and clients.
  • Ensure content reflects project scope and aligns with branding and strategy.
  • Create applications showcasing achievements for industry awards.
  • Update the company websites with blogs, projects, news, and open positions.
  • Contribute to reinforcing and promoting the organisation's culture through internal communications and engagement activities.

Experience / Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, English, Digital Media, or Design.
  • A minimum of (2 years) verified experience in content creation, copywriting, or a related creative capacity within a B2B environment.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media content scheduling tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create and edit multimedia assets.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills to coordinate content approval processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and identifying opportunities.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them understandable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Desired Skills

  • Experience using WordPress websites.
  • Experience with preparing award submissions or similar applications is a plus.
  • Experience capturing video and photography will be advantageous.
  • Experience using cloud-based platforms like SharePoint.
  • Experience in IT, Audio Visual or Construction sectors would be a distinct advantage.
  • A portfolio showcasing diverse content creation skills is a plus.

Salary

€28,000 – €33,000, depending on experience

Head Office, Ashbourne Co. Meath

3 days in the office

Practicalities

Full clean drivers licence and own transport to client sites is essential.
