Recycled Heating System with Automated Controls
Overview
Hereworks reduced the carbon footprint at Mount Jerome Crematorium by installing a Recycled Heating System with Automated Controls Mount Jerome was the first environmentally friendly crematorium in Ireland. They reduced their carbon footprint by 25% with a state-of-the-art filtration system and energy efficient cremator. The crematorium was the first in Ireland to install this kind of system to capture pollutants generated by the cremation process. Hereworks installed a unique Crestron automated control system which recycles the heat from the cremators to heat the three chapels. This sustainable, cost effective, energy efficient installation reduced their carbon footprint by a further 10%. This recycled heating system with automated controls allows them to contribute to a leaner, greener Ireland. They are reducing their carbon footprint by 25%, which is another big win. Hereworks won an Integration Systems Europe Award for Most Unique Application for a Crestron system on this project. As a Master System Integrator, Hereworks continue to find innovative ways of connecting systems so that buildings become sustainable and easier to manage.
