Systems Integrator
Overview
Hereworks were the systems integrator for the Remote Broadcast Centre and Data Centre Installations on Project Stryker for Riot Games. We completed this project in January 2022, which involved working closely with NTC a Deloitte business.
Our Solution
Hereworks provided our services and installed and tested all the equipment and cabling needed to enable this facility to become the broadcast infrastructure for Riot's worldwide broadcast operations. We installed and integrated a whole host of equipment, from monitors, multiple screen walls, projectors, projector screens and video walls, to thousands of meters of cabling in this fantastic facility.What is Project Styker
Known as Project Stryker and after three years in development, this is the first facility of three remote broadcast centres that receive live broadcast feeds from competitions to produce, broadcast, and translate content for millions of esports fans. The Remote Broadcast Centre centralises the broadcast infrastructure for Riot's worldwide broadcast operations, so they required a best-in-class installation to make this possible. Hereworks, as their chosen system integrator delivered on these requirements. We were honoured to be part of the village, as Allyson Gormley, General Manager for Project Stryker puts it, that brought this fantastic project to life. For more than a decade, Riot Games Esports has helped blaze the trail when it comes to remote-production workflows and centralised production models. This Remote Broadcast Centre supports remote regional studios and venues for Riot's Esports regional League of Legends competitions. Dublin will become Project Stryker’s European HQ serving as a central broadcasting hub for both regional and global live esports productions across LoL, Wild Rift, and Valorant.
